About the role

  • Methods Agent Operations Support managing engineering and assembly strategies for aircraft components. Leading problem-solving efforts and optimizing production processes in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • **TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM 🎯**
  • What you will accomplish as a “Methods Agent — Operations Support”:***WEEKEND shift schedule*
  • Act as the technical lead in troubleshooting by coordinating activities with other support departments and providing technical support throughout the problem-resolution process, including drafting and executing plans, making recommendations, and implementing changes.
  • Manage short- and medium-term projects to optimize production, reduce costs, and eliminate non–value-added activities.
  • Standardize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with engineering, material logistics, quality, and production teams.
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
  • Define the tooling required for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerances.
  • Stay alert to opportunities to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects.
  • Optimize the processes for drafting work instructions and for first-article inspection/control.

Requirements

  • Required skills and qualifications:
  • You hold a college diploma in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have at least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have experience in the aerospace industry.
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are highly proficient with SAP and MS Office, including MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel. You have knowledge of Catia V5.
  • You are a strong team player with solid communication skills and can interface with multiple business partners.
  • You must demonstrate superior organizational and leadership abilities and be comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment.
