About the role

  • Providing technical support to production operators at Sogeclair Digital Engineering. Managing assembly strategies and phases for aerospace components in a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret, verify, and approve documents originating from the engineering department
  • Be able to understand, interpret, and clarify ATP packages
  • Define assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
  • Prepare and present projects for approval with the company's relevant departments
  • Lead project follow-up meetings and keep the various tracking files up to date
  • Maintain performance indicators
  • Manage activities across project phases: feasibility study, pre-project and planning, procurement, implementation, and production ramp-up
  • Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes and assembly strategies by working closely with other departments, including material logistics, quality, and production
  • Manage change requests during project execution

Requirements

  • College or university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, aerospace manufacturing, or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in methods (process/methods engineering)
  • Experience in the aerospace sector and in support of medium-series production
  • Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to use and interpret aerospace standards
  • Knowledge of systems (hydraulic, pneumatic)
  • Ability to manage and/or interpret a manufacturing routing (process plan)
  • Mastery of tolerancing principles and dimension chains
  • Experience with basic component parts is a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP, PDM systems, Microsoft Office, and CATIA V5
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
