About the role

  • Designing and validating Fly-by-Wire flight control laws for next-generation aircraft. Collaborating across teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Write, in accordance with DO-178B and SAE ARP 4754 standards, the requirements for an existing experimental flight control law model to meet functional requirements.
  • Validate and verify (V&V) the flight control laws for a new flight computer.
  • When necessary, update the flight control law design model and associated evaluation tools using MATLAB and C++.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering;
  • Understanding of model-based testing methods for flight control laws;
  • Familiarity with DO-178B (or later) and system requirements verification and validation methods (SAE ARP 4754);
  • Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink;
  • Proficiency in MATLAB scripting;
  • Understanding of C/C++ programming;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English;
  • Team player with an innovative mindset, motivated and able to work independently.
