About the role

  • Talent Business Partner shaping recruitment strategy for Solink’s AI-powered video security platform. Leading full-cycle hiring, talent pipelines, stakeholder coaching, and data-informed workforce decisions across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and provide consultative guidance on hiring decisions
  • Lead strategic hiring kickoff sessions covering business needs, success profiles, interview strategy, assessment criteria, and talent market realities
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders about priorities, progress, and candidate feedback
  • Partner with business leaders on organizational goals, team design, and future talent needs
  • Coach and influence leaders using market intelligence, talent availability insights, and data-informed recommendations
  • Advise on role design, level, compensation, interview strategy, and hiring trade-offs
  • Partner with People Business Partners on workforce planning, succession considerations, and organizational growth
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate, commercial, operational, and technical roles
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake through offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Establish standardized screening criteria for culture and behavioural fit
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, professional networks, job boards, and other channels
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach and relationship building
  • Build and nurture talent communities
  • Represent the organization and promote its employer brand through networking, recruitment events, and social media
  • Deliver a positive, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience
  • Coordinate interviews, gather structured feedback, and maintain process momentum
  • Promote fair and consistent hiring practices supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in the ATS
  • Monitor time-to-fill, pipeline health, interview conversion, and offer acceptance metrics
  • Improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and recruitment best practices
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition projects that improve hiring effectiveness, employer branding, and recruiter capability
  • Execute initiatives independently, identify improvement opportunities, propose solutions, manage priorities, and communicate risks and dependencies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience or HR experience with talent acquisition responsibilities
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, data-informed, and solutions-oriented approach to recruiting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Curiosity and genuine interest in learning technical roles, talent markets, and recruiting best practices
  • Commitment to an inclusive, positive candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Collaborative mindset and passion for continuous learning and improvement
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Comfortable constructively challenging hiring decisions using data and market insight
  • Strong business acumen connecting hiring decisions to organizational outcomes
  • Ability to balance speed with quality and long-term talent strategy
  • Experience using Ashby as an ATS is nice to have
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter is nice to have
  • Experience using TeamOhana or other headcount planning and workforce management tools is nice to have
  • Experience in a high-growth, technology, or SaaS environment is nice to have
  • Knowledge of recruitment metrics and data-informed hiring decisions is nice to have
  • Exposure to employer branding, talent pipeline development, or recruitment marketing is nice to have
  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada
  • Must comply with Solink’s security policies and standards
