About the role

Responsibilities
- Independently manage moderately complex sourcing projects for subcategories such as temporary labor, business services, or IT services
- Lead end-to-end RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, from defining requirements through award
- Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers in collaboration with Legal
- Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of subcategory strategies
- Track and update the project pipeline in DevOps
- Coach and support junior buyers on ad hoc assignments
- Participate in procurement process improvement initiatives
- Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing
Requirements
- University degree in procurement, business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Experience in corporate services procurement is an asset
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with predominantly English-speaking stakeholders
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude and initiative
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Oracle ERP/P2P
- Experience with SAP and Ariba is an asset
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
