About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of a global enterprise network spanning LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, cloud and SD-WAN environments
- Resolve complex network incidents and service outages with vendors, service providers and internal technology teams
- Lead incident and problem resolution activities and communicate status updates to stakeholders
- Participate in on-call support and operational escalation
- Identify and implement improvements to reliability, performance, scalability, security and operational efficiency
- Participate in infrastructure deployments, technology refresh projects, site integrations and modernization initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation and operating procedures
- Support cloud networking architectures on public cloud platforms
- Serve as a subject matter expert for DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, IP networking, routing protocols, application connectivity and performance optimization
- Contribute to the automation of provisioning, configuration, validation and reporting
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Maintain and improve IPAM, monitoring and network inventory tools
- Collaborate with application, cloud, security and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story writing and Agile ceremonies
- Provide technical expertise for cross-functional initiatives and project deliveries
- Mentor team members and share technical expertise, best practices and troubleshooting techniques
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English; bilingualism will be considered an asset
- Strong experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments
- Expertise in routing, switching, wireless, WAN, Internet and network security concepts
- Experience with Azure cloud networking technologies
- Knowledge of network monitoring, observability and management platforms
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps-oriented delivery models is an asset
- Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform or equivalent is an asset
- Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers and NetBox IPAM is an asset
- Cisco CCNP certification is an asset
- Cloud networking certification is an asset
