Responsibilities
Assess speech, language, voice and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
Collaborate with families, teachers, healthcare professionals and Indigenous communities.
Participate in prevention activities and promotion of language health.
Requirements
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology recognized by the relevant authority
Member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ) or eligible for membership
Strong interest in working in multicultural settings and remote regions
Autonomy, empathy and adaptability
Rigor, autonomy and attention to detail
Good interpersonal and listening skills for patient care
Adherence to hygiene and safety standards
Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
