Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, voice and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, healthcare professionals and Indigenous communities.
- Participate in prevention activities and promotion of language health.
Requirements
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology recognized by the relevant authority
- Member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ) or eligible for membership
- Strong interest in working in multicultural settings and remote regions
- Autonomy, empathy and adaptability
- Rigor, autonomy and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and listening skills for patient care
- Adherence to hygiene and safety standards
- Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
