Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, voice and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, healthcare professionals and Indigenous communities.
  • Participate in prevention activities and promotion of language health.

Requirements

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology recognized by the relevant authority
  • Member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ) or eligible for membership
  • Strong interest in working in multicultural settings and remote regions
  • Autonomy, empathy and adaptability
  • Rigor, autonomy and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and listening skills for patient care
  • Adherence to hygiene and safety standards
  • Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
