IT specialist managing assets, ServiceNow workflows, and telephony systems for Sonepar Canada, a business-to-business electrical products distributor. Providing Level 1/2 support and supporting modernization projects across Canada.
Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, refresh, and disposal
Ensure IT asset data accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and audit readiness
Coordinate IT procurement, maintain vendor relationships, validate quotes, track orders, and support cost-effective purchasing
Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow workflows, forms, and automation solutions
Translate business requirements into efficient ServiceNow processes and drive platform improvements
Act as the primary contact for telephony systems across Canada, including deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and external-provider coordination
Support telephony modernization initiatives and project execution, including site readiness, scheduling, and stakeholder collaboration
Provide Level 1 helpdesk and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and system issues
Maintain documentation, procedures, and knowledge base content
Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and service delivery
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
3+ years of IT support experience at Level 1 / Level 2
Experience with IT asset management
Experience with ServiceNow configuration/development
Experience with telephony systems, including VoIP / BroadSoft or similar
Strong knowledge of Windows environment, Office 365, and Active Directory
Bilingual in French and English
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
ITIL certification considered an asset
ServiceNow CSA certification considered an asset
ERP/WMS exposure, such as SX or TWL, considered an asset
Experience with IT projects, including telephony or asset refresh initiatives, considered an asset
