Responsibilities
Lead go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Sophos' AI security portfolio
Own positioning and messaging for Sophos AI solutions and emerging categories
Build the category narrative around AI-native cybersecurity defense
Guide AI-related messaging across the broader Sophos portfolio
Translate technical capabilities into channel-ready stories for security buyers, MSPs, and end customers
Develop messaging frameworks, value propositions, competitive positioning, and proof points
Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning for new AI solutions and category launches
Partner with Product Management on launch scope, sequencing, and tiering
Build launch assets including pitch decks, solution briefs, web copy, video scripts, demo narratives, FAQs, battlecards, and partner playbooks
Drive cross-functional execution with Brand, Digital, Channel Marketing, Sales Enablement, PR, and Events
Equip MSPs, MSSPs, resellers, and VARs to sell and operationalize Sophos AI solutions
Build seller and partner enablement programs
Author talk tracks, objection handling, and competitive positioning
Maintain a point of view on the AI cybersecurity market and competitive landscape
Track competitor claims and product launches
Brief analyst research firms including Gartner, IDC, and Omdia
Build feedback loops with customers, partners, and field teams
Develop customer and partner evidence such as case studies, quotes, references, and outcome data
Develop AI narratives for Sophos' broader solution portfolio
Requirements
AI-native daily workflow using frontier AI tools for research, competitive analysis, drafting, and synthesis
7+ years in roles combining technical depth and market-facing communication
Proven track record bringing new products or categories to market
Ability to translate deep technical capability into differentiated stories
Ability to build launch assets including pitch decks, solution briefs, web copy, battlecards, and enablement playbooks
Fluency in or ability to quickly learn a channel-led model involving MSPs, MSSPs, resellers, and distributors
Ability to automate repetitive work with tools, prompts, and workflows
Hands-on competitive research using trials, demos, documentation, release notes, and pricing pages
Track record turning competitive findings into positioning, battlecards, and objection handling
Strong writing and communication skills for analysts, sellers, and senior stakeholders
Comfort operating in ambiguity and on short timelines
Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the position is posted without employer sponsorship
Willingness to travel occasionally
Preferred: direct experience marketing or building AI products
Preferred: direct experience with AI security, MDR, XDR, SIEM, or other cybersecurity solutions
Preferred: working knowledge of the AI threat landscape
