About the role
- Associate Optometrist providing eye examinations and proactive eye-health monitoring at Specsavers’ Duncan clinic. Delivering autonomous patient care with advanced diagnostic technology and pre-test support.
Responsibilities
- Provide eye examinations and deliver patient eyecare
- Monitor eye health proactively for preventable vision loss
- Conduct informed consultations using patient pre-test reports and history
- Practice in an independent optometrist-owned and operated clinic
- Work with trained eyecare consultants who conduct patient pre-testing
- Collaborate with Specsavers support resources and an optometry support consultant
Requirements
- Associate optometrist qualification
- Ability to provide clinic coverage for 5 days per week
- Values autonomy, flexibility, and a relational approach to patient care
