Responsibilities
- Organize technician activities in the field, workshop, or both
- Provide support during colleagues’ absences or vacations
- Plan inspection and maintenance assignments with external customers and certified technicians
- Prepare maintenance quotes for external customers
- Assist the main coordinator
- Prepare quotes and follow up on recurring mandates
- Respond to email inquiries and make initial contacts
- Manage client billing and required mandate documentation
- Act as liaison between customer service and road technicians across Canada
- Plan routes and work schedules and manage unexpected events
- Assign routes to technicians
- Oversee inventory management and equipment transfers
- Lead projects and process optimization
- Provide return authorizations to external clients
- Prepare quotes for equipment sent to fixed workshops
- Request supplier returns, create purchase orders, and follow up
- Manage email inquiries and internal software systems
- Follow up with clients on approvals, dates, and delivery schedules
- Follow up with buyers and suppliers on parts and service orders
- Keep internal software systems updated
- Coordinate workshop occupancy with technicians
Requirements
- DEC/AEC or equivalent
- Bilingualism (written and spoken)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and administrative diligence
- Adaptability and problem-solving ability
- At ease with technology
