About the role

  • Project Manager delivering event technology projects for Streampoint’s event marketing platform. Managing client requirements, on-site registration solutions, budgets, risks, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse project portfolio, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery
  • Serve as the product knowledge expert and consult clients on best practices
  • Act as the pivotal liaison between clients and Streampoint teams
  • Extract, understand, and manage client project requirements
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation and work back schedules
  • Uncover upsell opportunities to foster account growth
  • Foster enduring relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Identify, plan for, and manage risks and contingencies for all project activities
  • Ensure adherence to client contracts and scope of services
  • Manage client expectations, event needs, and requirements
  • Coordinate logistics for on-site registration solutions
  • Execute on-site registration procedures, including setup, staff training, and ongoing support
  • Manage and report on project progress and budget allocation
  • Participate in the sales process by presenting services and products to potential clients
  • Promote new services and products to aid contract renewal
  • Uphold company procedures related to accounting, contracting, and accounts receivable
  • Embody and promote Streampoint’s culture and values

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, preferably within the event technology sector
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in meeting and event technology
  • Demonstrated success working within a team to achieve goals and executing complex projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate positive client relationships
  • Superior problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of computer system setup and networking; willingness to learn required if inexperienced
  • Previous experience in event planning is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel across North America
  • Valid passport required
  • Infrequent weekend travel may be required depending on event schedules
  • PMP certification is a plus
