About the role

  • Support development of cutting-edge GenAI systems, including AI workflows and chatbots. Collaborate with teams to integrate AI solutions in financial data processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing agentic AI workflows for automating manual processes of SLC management
  • Develop an advanced AI chatbot for answering complex financial questions and optimize its components including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), reasoning, and tools
  • Assist in developing a generic data extraction tool for the reliable extraction of text, tables and graphs from a variety of financial documents
  • Assist in developing a quantitative algorithm to guide capital allocation across asset classes under various operational constraints
  • Integrate the AI solutions across SharePoint, Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft365 apps

Requirements

  • Opportunity available to Masters or PhD students with an August 2026 or later graduation date
  • Gen AI: expert-level Python and Gen AI skills including prompting LLMs, chat memory, and structured outputs
  • Agentic frameworks: hands-on experience with agentic frameworks including n8n, LangGraph, and MCP
  • Advanced RAG techniques: knowledge beyond simple vector search including pre-retrieval and post-retrieval optimization and agentic RAG
  • Document intelligence: familiar with tools for OCRing and extracting text, tables, and graphs from documents
  • LLM reasoning and planning: expertise in LLM planning, chain-of-thoughts, context learning and tool use
  • Last year machine learning graduate students or students of other disciplines with a strong machine learning knowledge.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning and optimization (nice to have)
