About the role
- Part-time Graphic Designer creating social, web, packaging, and marketing assets for a sustainable agriculture biotech startup. Supporting multiple brands and maintaining consistent visual identities remotely.
Responsibilities
- Create weekly social media content for GrowMate and Super Microbes, including static posts, carousels, short-form videos, and reels
- Develop content using existing brand assets, customer-generated content, stock photography, and stock footage
- Edit graphics and videos for different social media platforms and formats
- Research current social media trends, creative formats, and content strategies
- Recommend fresh content ideas aligned with each brand’s audience and objectives
- Ensure content is visually consistent with established brand guidelines
- Maintain and update the Company’s Wix websites
- Publish and format blog posts and other website content
- Update website copy, images, graphics, and page layouts
- Format and maintain content within Wix CMS
- Identify and correct basic formatting or visual-consistency issues across websites
- Edit and update existing product labels
- Implement revisions accurately and efficiently
- Create new labels using established templates and brand guidelines
- Proofread labels before finalization
- Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, layout, imagery, and branding
- Prepare organized, production-ready artwork and files
- Create and edit brochures, presentations, product sheets, digital advertisements, and other marketing materials
- Develop product mockups and digital graphics
- Perform image manipulation, editing, and retouching
- Adapt existing designs for different platforms, dimensions, and use cases
- Support additional creative projects as required
Requirements
- 3–5 years of work experience
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, social media, branding, print, or product-related design experience
- Experience with Wix Editor or a similar website-building platform
- Basic website or content-management knowledge; experience working with Wix CMS
- Interest in agriculture, biotechnology, wellness, or consumer products
- Experience creating or updating product labels and packaging
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or other AI-assisted creative tools
- Experience supporting multiple brands simultaneously
- Ability to manage multiple weekly assignments and meet deadlines
- Strong creative judgment and ability to develop ideas
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when proofreading and preparing final artwork
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain organized working files, folders, and creative assets
- Reliable communication in a remote working environment
- Comfort using Hubstaff for time tracking
- Must be available to work during UK time (GMT/BST) or Eastern Time (ET)
