About the role

  • SAP FICO Manager leading FI/CO design, configuration, integrations, and go-live for Tarkett Sports’ S/4HANA transformation. Supporting a global sports-surface manufacturer’s ERP modernization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the IT delivery of the SAP FI/CO workstream across design, configuration validation, testing, and go-live
  • Partner with the Finance BPO and hold the SI accountable, challenging decisions that do not serve the business
  • Lead SAP solution design for Project Accounting and Revenue Recognition, including WBS structures, POC logic, IFRS 15 alignment, WIP accounting, and PS/FI/CO integration
  • Drive SAP FI/CO configuration and solution governance across Universal Journal, New GL, AP/AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA/PCA, Internal Orders, and close processes
  • Enable manufacturing finance and product costing, including standard cost estimates, variance analysis, actual costing (CKMLCP), and MM/CO integration
  • Design and govern SAP finance organizational structures supporting FP&A and consolidation
  • Own FI/CO integrations, security, and extensibility design, including MM/SD/PS/PP touchpoints, banking interfaces, tax engines, SAP security/roles, workflows, and S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility
  • Lead test and defect triage and release readiness for Finance, including functional defect triage, configuration transports/content activation, regression planning, and cutover dependencies
  • Oversee finance data migration and cutover readiness through SIT, UAT, cutover, and first close cycles
  • Report to the Sr. Director, ERP Transformation and partner with Finance leadership, BPOs, SME teams, Basis/Security, and the SI

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of hands-on SAP Financials configuration and solution design (FI/CO)
  • Two or more full-cycle implementations, including S/4HANA Public Cloud; ECC-only profiles will not be considered
  • Experience in project-driven industries such as construction, engineering, oil and gas, or professional services
  • Experience with POC revenue recognition and WBS-based cost collection
  • Strong manufacturing finance exposure, including product costing, cost object controlling, variance settlement, and PP integration
  • Proven ability to operate as the sole or lead FI/CO resource, owning design decisions and managing SI pushback
  • Big 4 or SAP partner client-facing delivery experience
  • Ability to translate requirements into configuration, write functional specifications, support integration patterns such as APIs/IDocs/events, and drive defect resolution with developers and the SI
  • Experience with Fiori apps, finance reporting/analytics, fit-to-standard workshops, backlog management, test evidence, and migration validation using SAP tooling and SI accelerators
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
  • CPA/CMA is a strong asset
  • English is mandatory; French proficiency is an advantage
