About the role

  • Project Manager leading commercial office design and contract furniture pursuits. Coordinating proposals, stakeholders, and full project delivery across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through design, production, delivery, installation, deficiency resolution, and project close-out
  • Support project pursuit activities, including bid and RFP review, strategic planning, proposal development, client presentations, and operations alignment
  • Oversee development and coordination of project proposals, quote packages, presentations, mock-ups, and other customer-facing materials
  • Partner with sales, design, engineering, and dealer partners to propose innovative and competitive solutions
  • Develop project execution plans, establish milestones, monitor progress, and report on performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and dealer teams to align resources, timelines, and deliverables
  • Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive project documentation
  • Analyze won and lost opportunities to identify trends, lessons learned, competitive insights, and growth opportunities
  • Conduct site visits throughout Canada as required to support planning, monitor progress, address on-site concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while coordinating stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with customer requirements

Requirements

  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate from a post-secondary institution preferably in business, interior design, architecture, or a related field
  • 3+ years of Project Management Experience
  • Experience in commercial office design and/or contract furniture industry
  • Experience with design programs, such as AutoCAD, CET, Giza, or SIF programs
  • Experience leading projects from initiation through completion, including comprehensive project proposals and bid submissions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, stay organized, and balance competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret floorplans, construction drawings, bids/RFPs, and written specifications
  • Effective verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to foster collaboration among project team members
  • Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and resources to achieve milestones and deliverables
  • Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues
  • Ability to identify, address, and resolve conflicts and communication gaps
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to work under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to leverage resources, solve problems, make informed decisions, and deliver results
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Ability to travel within Canada and/or the USA
  • Able to conduct presentations and meetings
  • Overtime as required
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
