Responsibilities
Work in a TD Asset Management business unit, including Investment Operations, Client Services, Regulatory & Policy Governance, Business Governance & Portfolio Oversight, Communications, Market Intelligence & Analytics, Sales Enablement, Internal or External Distribution, or Product & Strategy
Learn aspects of the asset management business, including strategy, product design, distribution, operations, governance and oversight, trading and settlement processes, and market intelligence
Support and contribute to market, prospect and competitor research
Support, produce and deliver reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support projects focused on ongoing process improvement
Undertake projects involving strategy, market intelligence, business and product development, portfolio management, finance, risk, governance, client service and operations
Requirements
University student; applications must include an unofficial university transcript
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
Good foundation in business acumen, capital markets, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Advanced Excel capabilities
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Highly motivated individual with willingness and flexibility to take different initiatives
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Microsoft Access, Python, SQL/coding skills and financial modelling are assets
VBA and SQL are assets
Co-op experience in investment research, real estate, public and private securities analysis, or risk management is an asset
Strong verbal and written presentation skills are an asset
Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
