About the role

  • TD Business Intelligence Associate developing dashboards, reporting automation, and data insights for a leading Canadian bank. Using Python, SQL, Power BI, Azure, and Databricks in a 12-month program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in TD's 12-month AI2 Business Intelligence Associate development program
  • Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics
  • Interpret findings, take action, and provide meaningful business direction
  • Develop and maintain reporting packages and dashboards using data from Azure Cloud data marts and other systems
  • Work with SQL Server, HOST/Mainframe Systems, DB2 Enterprise Data Warehouses, and external data sources
  • Manage the repository of reporting assets, including development scripts, objects, and documentation
  • Adopt, implement, and evolve report automation standards
  • Validate the quality and integrity of reporting data
  • Lead project and partner discussions to understand business requirements and value
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues, business leaders, and program support teams

Requirements

  • Must have graduated between May 2025 and May 2027
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills
  • Experience analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs
  • Experience telling a story through data visualization
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with one or more of Python, SQL, MS Power BI, PySpark, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or Bitbucket
  • Technical knowledge or experience with Azure Cloud is an asset
  • Strong leadership qualities, initiative, prioritization, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to investigate business issues, understand root causes, and help partners leverage data to tell a story
  • Must reside in Canada, the country where the role is located
