About the role

Business Intelligence intern developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for TD, a global financial institution. Applying Azure, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python to banking analytics.

Responsibilities

Provide reporting and data visualization for an assigned business or function
Provide BI-related reporting support to other areas as assigned
Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics
Interpret findings, take action, and provide meaningful business intelligence solutions
Develop and maintain specialized reporting packages and dashboards
Use data from Azure Cloud localized data marts and other sources
Manage the repository of reporting assets, including development scripts, objects, and documentation
Adopt, implement, and evolve report automation standards
Validate the quality and integrity of data in reporting
Participate in a 4-month work term from January 4 to April 23, 2027
Work Monday-Friday during standard business hours in a hybrid arrangement

Currently enrolled in a recognized undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Statistics, Business, Data Analytics or a related field
Must intend to return to school at the start of the work term
Strong statistical and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
Experience with telling a story through data visualization
Knowledge of one or more of Python, SQL, Tableau, MS Power BI, PySpark, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or Bitbucket
Technical knowledge or experience with Azure Cloud is an asset
Strong leadership qualities are assets, including initiative, prioritization, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Must reside in Canada, the country where the role is located
