Responsibilities
Support development, implementation, interpretation, and maintenance of enterprise payments standards, requirements, and guidance
Administer payments monitoring and attestation programs, including scheduling, communications, follow-up, status review, and reporting
Maintain program tools, records, role assignments, accountability-owner information, archives, and documentation
Evaluate monitoring and attestation rationales, assess alignment with requirements, and document conclusions and follow-up actions
Serve as a subject matter expert for business, control, governance, technology, and project partners
Monitor adherence to enterprise payments standards across applicable Canadian and U.S. businesses
Consolidate and analyze payment-related issues, findings, incidents, non-conformance, and remediation status
Track remediation commitments, assess ownership and risk, validate closure evidence, and escalate overdue or higher-risk matters
Prepare governance materials, insights, escalation summaries, action tracking, and reporting for payments governance forums
Coordinate issue resolution and remediation with accountability owners, business partners, and control functions through closure
Recommend enhancements to standards, methodologies, procedures, tools, and reporting
Draft updates to existing standards and contribute to new standards
Maintain accurate and retrievable program records in accordance with governance and records-management expectations
Provide specialized guidance, collaborate across Canadian and U.S. resources, and support knowledge transfer and cross-training
Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency, data quality, stakeholder experience, documentation, and reporting
Requirements
Undergraduate degree
7+ years relevant experience
Knowledge of enterprise payments standards, requirements, monitoring, attestation, governance, and controls
Ability to interpret complex payments requirements and provide informed recommendations
Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and dependencies within established timelines and governance expectations
Ability to exercise judgment in monitoring and attestation activities, issue identification, stakeholder follow-up, and escalation
Ability to communicate standards, monitoring and attestation expectations, validation outcomes, and issues clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
Ability to work across Canadian and U.S. businesses and address jurisdiction-specific requirements
