About the role

  • Commercial Banking Associate learning lending, risk, and industry analysis at TD, a leading North American bank. Supporting mid-market clients through customized credit and cash management proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the fundamentals of commercial lending through financial analysis, risk management, and industry analysis
  • Work closely with mid-market businesses to support their financial goals
  • Create business proposals based on clients’ credit, deposits, and cash management needs
  • Complete six months of on-site coaching in a commercial unit
  • Participate in a structured training program
  • Progress to an Analyst role with a Relationship Manager or a standalone Account Manager
  • Develop toward careers in sales, relationship management, and risk management

Requirements

  • Working towards completing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business
  • Alternatively, another degree combined with work experience
  • Strong desire to learn, grow and succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
