About the role

  • Commercial Banking Intern supporting TD’s financial solutions for mid-market businesses. Developing lending, financial analysis, risk management, and industry analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gain work experience across TD Commercial Banking
  • Learn the fundamentals of commercial lending through financial analysis, risk management, and industry analysis
  • Work closely with mid-market businesses to support their financial goals
  • Create business proposals based on clients' credit, deposit, and cash management needs
  • Develop insight into clients' industries, products, finances, and markets
  • Support customized financial solutions for North American businesses
  • Participate in leadership talks, Lunch and Learns, training, onboarding, and development programs

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Well-rounded person who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong desire to learn, grow and succeed
  • Applications must include a transcript, cover letter (one letter-sized page or less), and a resume (maximum of 2 pages)
  • Must reside in Canada, the country where the role is located
  • Availability for a 4-month work term from January 4th to April 23rd, 2027
  • Monday-Friday, standard business hours
