Responsibilities

Develop and deploy data-driven strategies for Life & Health insurance products
Use SQL and Python for analysis, automation, and insights
Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Build machine learning models such as XGBoost and regression models to improve decision-making
Explore AI opportunities within Life & Health insurance
Communicate strategy analysis to technical and non-technical team members

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting
Experience building machine learning models, such as XGBoost and regression models
Strong presentation and communication skills
1+ years of experience in an analytical capacity
Motivation to find innovative, data-informed ways to enhance capabilities
In-depth knowledge of data science tools such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, or an R equivalent
Ability to communicate strategy analysis to technical and non-technical team members
Undergraduate degree
Experience with AI, including generative models, is an asset
Machine learning development and deployment is an asset
Automation experience is an asset

Base salary of $101,000 - $119,000 CAD
