About the role

  • Director managing complex commercial real estate banking relationships for TD. Structuring financing, assessing credit risk, developing clients, and coaching commercial banking teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of NREG's largest and most complex real estate clients
  • Drive business development activities with high-potential prospects
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to Account Managers and Customer Service Officers
  • Support deal structuring, project financing, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management
  • Evaluate new banking opportunities
  • Structure sophisticated credit solutions and mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with Credit Risk Management and TD Securities
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers
  • Identify opportunities to deliver relevant, value-added financial products and services
  • Coordinate and facilitate engagement with business partners to provide seamless customer solutions
  • Build new client relationships through referrals and other business development activities
  • Participate in industry and community events to enhance professional profile and TD's market presence and reputation
  • Report to the Unit Leader, with a dotted-line relationship to the Manager Commercial Services

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline
  • Professional designation
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending, relationship management, credit risk management, or a related field
