About the role
- Director managing complex commercial real estate banking relationships for TD. Structuring financing, assessing credit risk, developing clients, and coaching commercial banking teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of NREG's largest and most complex real estate clients
- Drive business development activities with high-potential prospects
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to Account Managers and Customer Service Officers
- Support deal structuring, project financing, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management
- Evaluate new banking opportunities
- Structure sophisticated credit solutions and mitigate risk
- Collaborate with Credit Risk Management and TD Securities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Identify opportunities to deliver relevant, value-added financial products and services
- Coordinate and facilitate engagement with business partners to provide seamless customer solutions
- Build new client relationships through referrals and other business development activities
- Participate in industry and community events to enhance professional profile and TD's market presence and reputation
- Report to the Unit Leader, with a dotted-line relationship to the Manager Commercial Services
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline
- Professional designation
- 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending, relationship management, credit risk management, or a related field
