About the role

  • Private trust associate supporting Indigenous client accounts at TD Wealth. Assisting Trust Officers with administration, client service, and complex trust relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support a designated relationship manager in meeting service commitments to Private Trust ITS clients through personable communication and correspondence
  • Maintain client profiles, account-specific documents, and client contact routines
  • Provide accurate, organized, and efficient service to external clients and internal colleagues and contacts
  • Handle and promptly respond to incoming calls, questions, and requests, or direct them to the appropriate person or area
  • Support the Private Trust ITS business by improving professional knowledge and staying current on trends, developments, tools, and techniques
  • Work autonomously and provide specialized skills and expertise in a moderate- to high-complexity environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams when required
  • Assist others in completing work activities and keep colleagues informed and up to date
  • Provide administrative, analytical, and service support to ITS Trust Officers and the Private Trust Manager
  • Serve as a secondary contact for clients of relationship managers
  • Assist Trust Officers with complex Indigenous client trust accounts and trust administration

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Working towards or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Working towards or fulfillment of TEP (Trust & Estate Practitioner) is an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, confidentially, and independently
  • Ability to follow instructions/direction and build relationships
