About the role

  • Head of Fusion & Cybersecurity Operations at TD responsible for strategic direction and operational oversight of protect operations. Safeguarding data and systems from cyber threats and managing teams in cyber crime prevention.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction and operational oversight for enterprise protect operations
  • Lead integrated capabilities that safeguard the bank’s people, systems, and data
  • Detect, respond to, investigate, and recover from cyber and security threats
  • Ensure alignment to business priorities, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices
  • Build and oversee capabilities across cyber threat detection, and cyber incident investigations
  • Develop and advance a comprehensive threat management and intelligence strategy
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators, law enforcement, and industry partners
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate fraud and cyber and conduct-related risks
  • Provide strong people leadership by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree highly preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant experience previously working in Risk, cybercrime, or corporate security
  • Knowledge of personal / commercial, insurance, and direct channels business lines, products, services, and clientele is highly preferred
  • Experience leading a functional or control area in a matrix organization with multiple lines of business
  • Strong organizational knowledge and proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment is highly preferred
  • Prior management experience
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Effective communication skills to present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, and regulators
  • Strong interpersonal skills and superior judgment
