Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the delivery of critical highway maintenance projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope and budget
- Provide strategic direction and lead cross-functional teams
- Optimize operational performance and contribute to a culture of accountability
- Oversee project financial health, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Manage project systems, including cost tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Coordinate with team members to engage subcontractors and suppliers
- Be a key conduit and primary holder of the client relationship at the project level
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience working in dynamic project manager roles, including construction, services or industrial settings
- Deep understanding of Health and Safety as a core company value
- Experience working with Canadian Construction Safety Association (CCSA) members would be an asset
- An engineering, Master of Business Administration, Financial designation or other relevant post secondary degree would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated understanding of key Project Manager responsibilities
- Open to relocation to the Edmonton area (relocation packages available)
- Successful track record of leading teams up to 7 direct reports across remote worksites
- Understand, interpret and communicate contract and performance requirements
- Strong financial acumen, including project estimates, budgets, project contracts and forecasting.
- Highly experienced in project scheduling and subcontract management
