About the role
- Truck and Coach Mechanic maintaining and repairing heavy construction and maintenance equipment for Ledcor. Ensuring safety and compliance while completing maintenance records and following procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as plow and sanding trucks, loaders, and light support gear
- Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
- Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
Requirements
- Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority, or a Red Seal On-Road ticket
- Previous experience working with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving and highway maintenance equipment (i.e. snowplows) would be an asset
- 421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset
- A valid Driver's License and ability to provide a 3-year driver's abstract
- Ability to understand and effectively carry out verbal and written instructions and read sketches and diagrams
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
