About the role
- Senior SEM Coach guiding industrial energy teams through efficiency improvements for CLEAResult. Coaching participants, analyzing plant performance, and delivering onsite audits and workshops.
Responsibilities
- Guide industrial energy teams in identifying, evaluating, and implementing energy efficiency opportunities
- Coach experienced program participants through workshops and one-on-one support
- Help participants apply continuous improvement to energy management
- Mentor new SEM Coaches
- Facilitate training workshops, onsite energy audits, and one-on-one sessions
- Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities
- Analyze industrial process performance using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis
- Guide development of continuous improvement plans and site improvement plans
- Write reports for technical and non-technical audiences
- Help develop workshop content and program materials
- Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, panels, and forums
- Travel to participant sites
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial and/or commercial environments
- Engineering background, or a related technical or science field
- Experience in a role related to energy efficiency improvement is an asset
- Working knowledge of industrial systems such as motors, compressed air, lighting, refrigeration, boilers, and some HVAC
- Ability to perform technical calculations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Experience working with participants or stakeholders in technical environments
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including data analysis and presentation development
- CEM, P.Eng., Lean Six Sigma, or a similar designation is an asset
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to participant sites
- Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
- If applicable, meet Canadian commercial driving qualification, licensing, medical, compliance, hours-of-service, and safety fitness requirements
