About the role
- Financial Operations Analyst optimizing Tecsys’s healthcare supply-chain technology finances and operations. Building forecasts, analyzing cloud costs, and improving financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends and drive strategic decision making
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting processes
- Evaluate and improve financial and operational processes to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management
- Conduct financial analysis to support business development initiatives and investment decision making
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Manage and optimize the Product and Technology department's finances and operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent degree and experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a strong interest into accounting and financing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree and experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a strong interest into computer science, cloud technologies and cloud provider
- 1+ years relevant experience as an Information Technology or Finance professional managing IT
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts
- Ability to establish IT cost management strategies, models, processes, and tools
- Understanding of cloud billing practices and procedures
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills, coupled with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Canada
- AWS, Azure and/or GCP Cloud Certification, FinOps Practitioner, Cloud Financial Management, Total Business Management or equivalent certifications would be an asset
- Experience in cloud would be an asset
- Experience in Power BI would be an asset
