About the role

  • Project Manager II managing supply chain operations to ensure timely material availability for fibre network expansion across Canada. Collaborating with teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Support build partner teams by ensuring timely material availability to sustain fibre network expansion
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements in supply chain operations
  • Collaborate across internal and external teams to align priorities and remove bottlenecks
  • Automate and enhance materials reporting systems to provide real-time visibility into material status
  • Proactively monitor material availability and shipment status against required dates to mitigate impacts to build schedules
  • Work with the master scheduler to plan activities, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels
  • Conduct analytical reviews to identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of supply chain functions, scheduling processes, and best practices
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in complex supply chain or project environments
  • Demonstrated forecasting and vendor management experience
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into concrete, actionable outcomes
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify improvement opportunities
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or relevant professional experience
  • Supply chain certification (CSCP or SCMP) or project management credential (PMP or Agile certification) is a plus
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, including probability, regression, time series analysis, and experience with AI-driven demand forecasting models
