About the role
- Project Manager II managing supply chain operations to ensure timely material availability for fibre network expansion across Canada. Collaborating with teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Support build partner teams by ensuring timely material availability to sustain fibre network expansion
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in supply chain operations
- Collaborate across internal and external teams to align priorities and remove bottlenecks
- Automate and enhance materials reporting systems to provide real-time visibility into material status
- Proactively monitor material availability and shipment status against required dates to mitigate impacts to build schedules
- Work with the master scheduler to plan activities, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels
- Conduct analytical reviews to identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
Requirements
- Solid understanding of supply chain functions, scheduling processes, and best practices
- 3–5 years of professional experience in complex supply chain or project environments
- Demonstrated forecasting and vendor management experience
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into concrete, actionable outcomes
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify improvement opportunities
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or relevant professional experience
- Supply chain certification (CSCP or SCMP) or project management credential (PMP or Agile certification) is a plus
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, including probability, regression, time series analysis, and experience with AI-driven demand forecasting models
