About the role

  • Engineering graduate trainee supporting Tenaris, a global advanced tubular-products and services company. Learning industrial processes through training, projects, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Join Tenaris operations teams in Sault Ste. Marie as part of the Global Trainee Program
  • Observe core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities
  • Collaborate on critical project execution
  • Learn Tenaris strategy, systems, and processes
  • Analyze information and prepare reports and process deliverables
  • Gain deep knowledge of exposed processes
  • Maintain regular contact with other company areas and interact with different hierarchical levels
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure area results
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, laws, and regulations

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with an engineering degree graduated in the last 4 years
  • Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering degree; specialization in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Metallurgy
  • Less than 4 years of related professional experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical drawings, hydraulics, applied mechanics, and controls would be considered an asset
  • Excellent Office Suite skills
  • Self-driven and self-starter
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and able to execute high-level results
  • Analytical ability to collect and analyze information and data and make recommendations and decisions
  • Business acumen to understand and manage business situations, risks, and outcomes
  • Honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high ethical standards
  • Understanding of quality client service and ability to identify client needs
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting
