About the role

  • Sales Development Representative generating U.S. K-12 education software pipeline for Toon Boom. Prospecting school districts and qualifying leads for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for and generate new business opportunities within the U.S. K–12 education market
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
  • Build and manage pipeline activity in Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Research school districts, education programs, and target accounts
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and lead follow-up
  • Support webinar, event, and partner-driven pipeline generation initiatives
  • Maintain strong activity levels and pipeline discipline
  • Develop a strong understanding of Toon Boom’s products, value proposition, and positioning in the education market
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Education leadership to engage school districts, educators, administrators, and strategic partners

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing, or outbound prospecting roles; SaaS experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with new prospects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Interest in technology, SaaS, education, media, or creative industries
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools is an asset
