About the role

  • Product Manager owning squad delivery, backlog, and roadmap execution for Trackforce’s physical security workforce management SaaS platform. Driving WFM product mastery and customer-focused improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Own and facilitate squad ceremonies, including dailies, refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Serve as the primary product voice in the squad and resolve day-to-day blocking questions
  • Maintain, write, refine, and prioritize the squad backlog with clear acceptance criteria
  • Track and drive ticket velocity from a product management perspective
  • Collaborate with engineers, QA, and design to ship high-quality increments
  • Become a subject-matter expert on WFM/BOSS modules: Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Payroll, and Billing
  • Learn private security workflows, key metrics, break-rule compliance, and margin dynamics
  • Use the product hands-on and understand its configuration options
  • Study available product documentation
  • Build trust-based relationships with Engineering, QA, and Design
  • Participate in customer-facing conversations and support client engagement efforts
  • Communicate product decisions and trade-offs clearly and tactfully
  • Assist the Group PM with competitive research, market analysis, and client-feedback synthesis
  • Contribute data-informed input to roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Surface squad-level risks, gaps, and opportunities
  • Demonstrate and lead walkthroughs of assigned/core functionality
  • Deliver assigned roadmap timeline commitments
  • Increase velocity on agile rituals
  • Meet post-release roadmap benchmark metrics
  • Maintain clear, referenceable documentation and records of work

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of product management, business analysis, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments
  • Jira tools or equivalent
  • Ability to write clear, well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Exposure to WFM, payroll, billing, or scheduling software in any industry
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, professional services, or field-service-adjacent domains
  • Familiarity with the private security industry
  • Understanding of software development concepts, including APIs and data models
  • Tenacity, collaborative spirit, willingness to read documentation, and enthusiasm for hands-on product learning
