About the role
- Senior Software Developer building and enhancing technology for exceptional customer experiences at Trail Appliances. Design and develop secure, scalable applications collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support secure, scalable, and high-quality full-stack software applications and services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to design technical solutions, evaluate requirements, and ensure applications align with business needs, security standards, and long-term supportability.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations and customizations for enterprise systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Syspro ERP, and other business-critical applications.
- Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure while maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and DevOps best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and the adoption of modern development practices, including AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional full-stack software development experience using technologies such as React.js, Python, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and related frameworks.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating scalable cloud-based applications, APIs, microservices, and containerized solutions using Microsoft Azure and Docker.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL, Git-based source control, Agile development practices, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions, while contributing to solution design, technical planning, estimation, and risk analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring developers and using modern AI-assisted development tools to enhance software development and delivery.
