About the role
- Service Coordinator coordinating HVAC service agreements, repairs, dispatch, and customer service for Trane Technologies. On-site in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, control, and direct activities of operational resources
- Coordinate execution of service agreements and repair work
- Procure appropriate labor and materials within financial standards
- Interact with customers and communicate with Field Technicians
- Coordinate job priorities with Service Managers
- Coordinate service resources and dispatch/assign team members to projects
- Schedule personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability
- Assign and dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians
- Coordinate with the Parts Department and Acquisition as necessary
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to assigned staff, and responding to special requests
- Generate work orders, review project paperwork, forward paperwork to Project Administrators, and generate reports
Requirements
- Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training; or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED
- Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles prioritized
- Excellent customer service skills and comfort/effectiveness on the phone
- Organized, able to multitask and prioritize daily interruptions
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
- Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred
