About the role

  • Senior product manager leading Canadian income and employment verification products at TransUnion. Owning VOIE strategy, roadmap, compliance, APIs, and lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Income and Employment Verification (VOIE) products in Canada
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and compliance-by-design through launch, iteration, and scale
  • Define multi-year product vision and success metrics aligned to business outcomes
  • Build and manage prioritized roadmaps balancing customer value, regulatory constraints, data supply, and technical feasibility
  • Lead market assessments for new verticals and channels
  • Drive structured discovery with customers, developers, and partners
  • Own the end-to-end user journey
  • Establish and validate hypotheses through experiments, Voice of Customer, usability tests, and A/B tests
  • Translate insights into clear product requirements
  • Partner with technology and operations to source, normalize, and enrich payroll and HCM data
  • Define data quality thresholds and service-level agreements
  • Oversee API design, developer tools, and developer experience
  • Implement monitoring and analytics for coverage, match rates, pass rates, fallbacks, and compliance requirements
  • Define pricing and packaging strategies, including usage-based and bundled offerings
  • Enable Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success with value propositions, collateral, and pilot programs
  • Define launch criteria, readiness plans, and rollout strategies across use cases and customer segments
  • Produce product documentation, support a healthy backlog, and manage scope and prioritization
  • Support cross-functional teams through agile processes, align stakeholders, and escalate blockers
  • Measure performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement through data-driven iteration
  • Report to the VP, Credit Risk Product Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • 7-10+ years of Product Management experience in VOIE (Verification of Income & Employment), credit reporting, financial services, building data, and/or compliance-heavy product
  • Experience shipping products handling sensitive data with strong privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Fluency in experimentation, analytics, and metric design, including conversion funnels, cohort analysis, and A/B testing
  • Deep experience with agile product methodologies and structured product development life cycles (PDLC)
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian credit ecosystem
  • Technical acumen in APIs, data pipelines, identity resolution, monitoring/observability, and platform reliability
  • Ability to lead, influence, and work autonomously
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Curious and customer focused
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity
  • Strong collaboration across matrixed, cross-functional teams
