About the role

  • Business Development Executive developing strategic law firm, insurer, and incident response partnerships for TransUnion’s breach and cyber risk solutions. Driving customer adoption, renewals, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage new strategic relationships with incident response partners and existing TU customers to support TransUnion solutions and drive incremental revenue
  • Develop preferred vendor relationships with strategic law firms and panelist relationships with cyber insurers
  • Manage existing strategic relationships with incident response partners and customers for incident response solutions
  • Research industry changes and provide education and consultation to customers and sales staff
  • Assess the competitive landscape from solution and financial perspectives to support evaluation of TransUnion’s product suite and offerings
  • Identify product development opportunities and build on data to drive product or service enhancements
  • Lead and coordinate resources for client-facing business reviews
  • Collaborate with Business Development Executives, Market Planners, and Product Consultants to drive adoption of new product opportunities
  • Facilitate potential RFPs and contract renewals
  • Work with Client Success Management to ensure successful solution and project implementation and expected customer ROI
  • Maintain sales and operations assets for client engagements
  • Lead issue resolution and document issues and root causes for future avoidance
  • Coordinate the sales process by securing internal resources, scheduling calls, delegating assignments, and coordinating responses
  • Build relationships with accounting, operations, and other sales groups to meet customer needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of incident response experience with an established industry network
  • 4 years of business development and relationship management experience or 5 years of experience in related industries and/or functional areas
  • Demonstrated proficiency in new business development and relationship management
  • Subject matter expertise in incident response strategies and solution applications
  • Experience with strategic account planning and development
  • In-depth experience coordinating reactive response strategies with incident response partners, including breach coaches, cyber insurers, and PR firms
  • Understanding of the regulatory/legislative environment supporting incident response strategies
  • Ability to support and execute a go-to-market strategy to gain market share and increase market penetration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to connect and engage with customers with comfort and confidence
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to handle concurrent projects
