About the role

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry, validation and matching, followed by payment preparation
- Monitor accounts payable, outstanding invoices and follow-ups, and resolve discrepancies
- Process and reconcile corporate credit cards
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Participate in month-end activities
- Process the full payroll cycle for all employees
- Collaborate with HR to update employee records and administer employee benefits
- Complete year-end payroll activities, including T4s, Relevé 1s and CNESST declarations
- Prepare related reconciliations and reports
Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in accounting or finance
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Fluency in French and English
- Knowledge of payroll fundamentals
- Ability to complete work according to prioritized deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to integrate into a team and collaborate effectively
- Resourcefulness and flexibility
- High degree of autonomy, discretion and impeccable confidentiality
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
