About the role

  • Senior Product Marketing Manager owning go-to-market for Upbound’s AI inference infrastructure. Shaping enterprise messaging, launches, competitive strategy, and open-source-to-commercial positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market for Upbound’s AI inference work
  • Define positioning and messaging for the AI inference portfolio, including message architecture, value framework, and proof for claims
  • Develop competitive and market strategy for the AI inference and infrastructure landscape
  • Lead end-to-end launches, from narrative and press through analyst briefings and sales enablement
  • Develop enterprise buyer personas and journeys for CIOs, VPs of Engineering, VPs of AI, and platform teams
  • Create sales enablement materials including sales plays, discovery questions, objection handling, cost and ROI models, and customer stories
  • Provide input on pricing and packaging based on enterprise purchasing and budgeting
  • Define the open-source-to-commercial path and differentiate the project and product narratives
  • Serve as a named spokesperson by briefing analysts, preparing executives, and appearing on stages, podcasts, and in the community

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B enterprise software product marketing
  • Meaningful experience with infrastructure, developer, or data platform products sold to technical buyers
  • Enterprise go-to-market experience that closed real revenue
  • Working knowledge of AI and inference, cloud infrastructure, modern software deployment and operations, and the Kubernetes ecosystem
  • Experience marketing open-source and commercial products within the same organization
  • Experience taking a new, technically ambitious product to market in an emerging category
  • Ability to write and ship copy personally
  • Comfort with speed and ambiguity
  • Ability to build trust with engineers and senior sales leaders
  • Customer-obsessed approach and ability to communicate with platform engineers, VPs of Engineering, and VPs of AI
  • Familiarity with the Pragmatic Marketing discipline
