Machine Operator responsible for operating production line equipment in food manufacturing. Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards while meeting production targets.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Machine Operator 1 is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production line equipment.
Monitor and manage production activities to meet daily and weekly production plans.
Perform corrective machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
Maintain shift log of production and other data on Efficiency & Quality Application and ERP Application.
Assist in training as required to ensure proper production SOPs, GMPs, equipment and Health and Safety Standards are met.
Ensure proper maintenance, sanitation and Health and Safety protocols are always followed by all team members.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of Machine Operator experience or equivalent required.
Electric Pallet Truck license is a definite asset.
Properly store, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in compliance with SOPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and safety procedures.
Able to perform above duties in a fast-paced environment.
Able to multi-task, prioritize and solve problems.
Good knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, Health & Safety procedures, including OHSA & WHMIS.
Proficiency in ERP systems and production reporting tools.
