About the role

  • Senior marketing leader shaping product positioning, campaigns, and sales enablement for veritree, a climate-tech company verifying global restoration impact. Leading marketing teams and partner expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own veritree's positioning, messaging, and value proposition architecture across its solution portfolio and ecosystem packages
  • Own segment and ideal customer profile messaging frameworks and project-to-buyer matching logic
  • Own the product catalogue and commercial pricing guidance with Revenue and Finance
  • Direct development of the canonical project library and define sales-readiness standards
  • Own competitive and category positioning and feed buyer insights back into Forest and Product
  • Own veritree's master narrative and impact story across worker, community, and ecosystem layers
  • Set claims standards, provide final sign-off, and maintain the claims register
  • Set brand voice and editorial standards across product, campaign, and co-marketing
  • Direct acquisition campaign concepts, launch campaigns, gated content, lead magnets, nurture logic, and ABM plays
  • Set campaign narrative calendars and review campaign performance
  • Direct co-marketing with existing partners, including case studies, announcements, impact narratives, awards, and activations
  • Partner with Customer Success on retention and expansion stories
  • Create sales talk tracks, proof points, playbooks, objection handling, and training
  • Audit metric changes and ensure accurate use across marketing and partner assets
  • Design training for AEs, BDRs, and CSMs and measure adoption through call reviews
  • Serve as senior narrative expert on live sales calls when needed
  • Own cross-functional launch checklists, readiness gates, internal product communication, and portfolio availability
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team across product marketing, campaign, and co-marketing
  • Set priorities, manage content-request intake, and build planning, review, and performance rhythms

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability
  • 7–10+ years in product marketing, brand or content strategy, or a comparable narrative-led commercial role, with meaningful product marketing ownership
  • 3+ years managing marketers, or clear evidence of leading and developing others
  • Track record of packaging complex or technical subject matter into positioning, narratives, and sales-adopted assets
  • Demonstrated sales enablement experience, including playbooks, proof-point libraries, and training programs
  • Demand-generation fluency, including acquisition campaigns, gated content, nurture, and ABM
  • Genuine appetite for technical and scientific subject matter and discipline to represent it accurately
  • Experience owning cross-functional processes such as launch checklists, readiness gates, and intake-to-market workflows
  • Fluency with HubSpot and enablement tooling
  • Comfort with marketing analytics
  • Experience using AI to make knowledge accessible at the point of need
  • Nice to have: experience in tree planting, forestry, carbon markets, sustainability, or nature-based solutions
  • Nice to have: familiarity with ESG and nature reporting frameworks, including CSRD, TNFD, SBTi, and CDP
  • Nice to have: experience with MRV methodologies, remote sensing, or field data collection technology
  • Nice to have: background in social impact measurement or community development
  • Nice to have: experience building AI-assisted knowledge bases or enablement tooling for live call support
