About the role
- Project Manager coordinating concurrent engineering projects for Volatus Aerospace, a global aerial solutions company. Managing schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements, for multiple simultaneous engineering projects
- Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and deviations from plan
- Facilitate cross-team communication and coordination across engineering workstreams
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reporting to the CTO
- Lead project status meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and follow up on action items
- Escalate issues and develop mitigation strategies with engineering leads and the CTO
- Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and change logs
- Coordinate resource allocation across engineering teams
- Define and enforce project management best practices, processes, and tools
- Drive accountability to meet commitments and deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3–5 years of project management experience delivering complex technical or engineering projects on time and within budget
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
- Experience managing project budgets and tracking costs
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build working relationships with technical teams and senior leadership
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
- Background in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Experience in a technology-driven organization or startup environment preferred
- Familiarity with engineering workflows, software development lifecycles, and technical project constraints preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Ability to work onsite at the Company's designated workplace
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday
- Flexibility to support operational needs, time-sensitive activities, or business priorities
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed
