About the role

  • Project Manager coordinating concurrent engineering projects for Volatus Aerospace, a global aerial solutions company. Managing schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements, for multiple simultaneous engineering projects
  • Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and deviations from plan
  • Facilitate cross-team communication and coordination across engineering workstreams
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reporting to the CTO
  • Lead project status meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and follow up on action items
  • Escalate issues and develop mitigation strategies with engineering leads and the CTO
  • Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and change logs
  • Coordinate resource allocation across engineering teams
  • Define and enforce project management best practices, processes, and tools
  • Drive accountability to meet commitments and deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of project management experience delivering complex technical or engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Experience managing project budgets and tracking costs
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build working relationships with technical teams and senior leadership
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Background in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
  • Experience in a technology-driven organization or startup environment preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering workflows, software development lifecycles, and technical project constraints preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Ability to work onsite at the Company's designated workplace
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility to support operational needs, time-sensitive activities, or business priorities
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed
