Project Engineer leading metering installations and hardware enablement for Voltus demand-response programs. Supporting customers, Sales, and Engineering with energy-reduction strategies and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end installation execution projects, including metering and product enablement
Maintain hardware throughout its lifecycle
Provide technical support to the Sales team
Assist customers with energy reduction strategies
Collaborate with Engineering to develop hardware and innovative metering solutions
Define and optimize processes to improve efficiency and accelerate installation timelines
Ensure materials, installations, and technologies meet industry and market standards
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Engage in high-level technical discussions with customers
Support customer participation in demand response programs through load curtailment strategies and proprietary hardware enablement
Requirements
Bachelor in Engineering/Technical related field or relevant work experience
2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of relevant work experience
Results-driven, analytical, and highly motivated team player
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Experience in hardware commissioning
Experience in troubleshooting
Experience in data platform integration
Experience in contractor management
Experience with Salesforce
PMP certification preferred
Background in electrical, HVAC, or industrial controls, energy storage, energy efficiency, or data analysis preferred
Proficiency in reading/drawing electrical schematics preferred
Must be authorized to work from the home location in the US or Canada
