About the role

  • Intern assisting in the development of a case law database for the World Anti-Doping Agency. Collaborating on various projects related to athlete compliance and legal research.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of Results Management correspondence and consistency with applicable rules and procedures.
  • Support the drafting and summarization of case decisions.
  • Develop and update case studies and practical training materials for Results Management education.
  • Review, organize, and summarize simple case files.
  • Conduct legal research, and prepare concise research summaries to support the Legal Affairs team.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of Results Management data.

Requirements

  • 2nd or 3rd year law student
  • Interest in the fight against doping
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, synthesize, and report
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in one of WADA's two official languages (English/French) and a very good command of the other official language; knowledge of Spanish and German would be an asset
  • Strong work ethic (dedication, rigor, perseverance, discretion, and organizational skills)
  • Compatibility with the organization's culture: good team spirit, enjoyment of teamwork and sport in general
