About the role
- Intern assisting in the development of a case law database for the World Anti-Doping Agency. Collaborating on various projects related to athlete compliance and legal research.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of Results Management correspondence and consistency with applicable rules and procedures.
- Support the drafting and summarization of case decisions.
- Develop and update case studies and practical training materials for Results Management education.
- Review, organize, and summarize simple case files.
- Conduct legal research, and prepare concise research summaries to support the Legal Affairs team.
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of Results Management data.
Requirements
- 2nd or 3rd year law student
- Interest in the fight against doping
- Ability to interpret, analyze, synthesize, and report
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in one of WADA's two official languages (English/French) and a very good command of the other official language; knowledge of Spanish and German would be an asset
- Strong work ethic (dedication, rigor, perseverance, discretion, and organizational skills)
- Compatibility with the organization's culture: good team spirit, enjoyment of teamwork and sport in general
