About the role

Senior QA Data Analyst creating Looker telemetry dashboards for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Montréal AAA game studio. Verifying game data and delivering actionable insights to QA and development teams.

Responsibilities

Create dashboards using game telemetry in Looker
Verify and analyze game data
Detect problems and document them in the bug management system
Communicate findings and analyses regularly to stakeholders
Act as a point of contact for testers and share relevant information and insights
Create and update documentation
Support task management for the QA Analytics team
Mentor testers on data visualization practices
Serve as a key technical resource for reporting and analytics initiatives
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for QA, development teams, and production stakeholders

Degree or certificate in a relevant field (computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, economics, etc.) and/or completion of post-secondary coursework in mathematics and statistics
Proven communication and data reporting skills
Working knowledge of database technologies and SQL programming (Redshift, Databricks)
Experience working with large datasets
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Looker, Grafana, Tableau, or equivalent)
Experience working on game design and/or production projects
Proficiency with Excel
Applied knowledge of statistical concepts
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Take responsibility for report quality and meeting timeline commitments
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
Experience with GitHub is an asset
Experience in quality assurance testing is an asset
