About the role

Associate in Crypto Operations at Wealthsimple delivering client experiences across diverse crypto products. Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations and effective project management.

Responsibilities

Help deliver frictionless, reliable, accurate, and timely client experiences across an expansive set of products & features.
Manage projects from ideation to completion, and work collaboratively with Crypto Ops management, fellow Crypto Ops team members, Finance, Data & Reconciliation, Compliance, and Engineering teams.
Hands-on Day to Day tasks, with a significant amount of processing work to ensure our crypto services operate smoothly and efficiently.

2+ years of demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment, either in crypto operations, brokerage operations, fintech, startups, FI's or other operations roles in related fields.
General interest in crypto and its various applications (e.g., Staking, Trading, Digital Asset Custody, Blockchain Reconciliation). Prior crypto experience is a nice to have but not a requirement.
Proven experience with SQL, General Ledgers, and Reconciliations is a huge plus

Communication - Speaks plainly and truthfully. Communicates complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience (e.g. engineering, finance, operational teams, executive team)
Honesty/integrity - Doesn't cut corners. Does what is right, not what is politically expedient.
