About the role

  • Staff Infrastructure Engineer building reliable, scalable cloud services for Webflow’s agentic web marketing platform. Modernizing infrastructure with AWS, Kubernetes, Cloudflare, and Pulumi.

Responsibilities

  • Create and test reliable cloud infrastructure services supporting Webflow products
  • Lead initiatives to reduce triage load, increase reliability, and support customer scale
  • Use Pulumi, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, Kubernetes, and related tools
  • Balance reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency while modernizing existing services
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver new services and ways of working
  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews
  • Participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes
  • Improve engineering speed and safety through standardized processes, automation, and cloud best practices
  • Mentor and teach junior engineers
  • Provide feedback to teams on tool and software solution designs
  • Report to the Senior Engineering Manager

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment with little to no downtime
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling multi-region cloud environments on AWS or GCP
  • Experience using Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare tooling
  • Experience with container-centric architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Mesos
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform or Pulumi
  • Experience with agentic development
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring or coaching junior engineers
  • Familiarity with full-stack applications, services, and tools authored in TypeScript, Node, or Go
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong results and impact on shipped projects
  • Proactive adoption and application of AI and emerging technologies
  • Valid right-to-work authorization depending on country of employment
  • Successful background check may be required
