About the role

  • Quality Assurance Inspector verifying manufactured nuclear components against customer, regulatory, and quality standards. Conducting inspections, surveillance, testing, and document control at Westinghouse’s Peterborough facility.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret customer orders, technical specifications, drawings, codes, and standards to verify product compliance
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies
  • Conduct quality surveillance activities, witness testing and NDE activities, and prepare inspection reports
  • Support document control activities, including reviewing, distributing, scanning, and maintaining quality records
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customer representatives, and regulatory authorities on quality and compliance matters
  • Help ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements
  • Report to the QA Lead / Manager at the Peterborough facility

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Post-secondary related education
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with fabrication, machining, welding, heat treatment, inspection, or related manufacturing processes
