About the role

Quality Assurance Inspector verifying manufactured nuclear components against customer, regulatory, and quality standards. Conducting inspections, surveillance, testing, and document control at Westinghouse’s Peterborough facility.

Responsibilities

Interpret customer orders, technical specifications, drawings, codes, and standards to verify product compliance
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies
Conduct quality surveillance activities, witness testing and NDE activities, and prepare inspection reports
Support document control activities, including reviewing, distributing, scanning, and maintaining quality records
Collaborate with suppliers, customer representatives, and regulatory authorities on quality and compliance matters
Help ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements
Report to the QA Lead / Manager at the Peterborough facility

4+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or a related field
Post-secondary related education
Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards within a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with fabrication, machining, welding, heat treatment, inspection, or related manufacturing processes
