About the role
- Senior Piping Designer checking 3D piping designs for Wood’s large-scale offshore oil and gas projects. Ensuring compliant delivery within client schedules and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Check pipe designs, 3D models, and drawings; design piping systems and equipment
- Operate in a multidisciplinary environment to complete large-scale client projects
- Ensure project schedules and client-approved budgets are managed and met
- Adhere to HSSES requirements within the Piping department and Wood procedures and management systems
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, statutory regulations, Wood procedures, offshore installation-specific design philosophies, project objectives, and industry best practice
Requirements
- Currently authorized to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Technical diploma from a post-secondary institution
- Relevant work experience
- 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
